While the Eurozone crisis is always so grave, Gérard DUSSILLOL, Chairman of the Public Finances Committee, interviewed at the occasion of the 2nd Think Tanks Forum (Paris), on November 19th, 2011, proposes that France begins by hiring the reforms which it did not make for decades.

By comparison with all the countries of the OECD, France is the country which has the strongest public spending for ten years and one of the strongest unemployment rates in the zone. Would not it be necessary time to raise the taboos and to admit that our spending does not serve to boost the growth... that it harms it even? It is urgent today to attack the drift of our public finances and to have the courage to make the reforms which are imperative…
