Video interview with Gerard DUSSILLOL, Chairman of the Public Finances Committee of the Institute Thomas More.
Debt has become one of the main concerns of the French even for the latecomers, who care and do not get satisfactory answers politicians. We could describe the current situation of France in the form of a little fable: we are all on a boat that comes in a storm with a waterway already serious, which slows it down and tilted dangerously. Everyone is on deck, medias and political leaders, and scans the horizon to see the storm coming... but nobody takes care of the waterway.
Thus, the storm is the debt crisis, the waterway is the public spending. What do you think will happen at the end of the tale, if not look seriously at last the waterway?
