It appears that a majority of Europeans is not interested in the coming election of the European Parliament on the 7th of June. This is why Thomas More Institute analyses the reasons of that disenchantment through a cultural perspective. To do so, the Institute asked the philosopher Jean-François MATTÉI, member of the Institut universitaire de France, professor at the Institut d'études politiques in Aix-en-Provence and Professor Emeritus at Nice-Sophia Antipolis. He is the author of "Le regard vide. Essai sur l'épuisement de la culture européenne" (Flammarion, 2007). He is a member of the Advisory Board at Thomas More Institute since 2004.
